Lecture/Slideshow Presentations
Jenny believes that photography can be a very powerful conservation tool, and that members of the general public can be readily educated and motivated regarding conservation issues if they are inspired by beautiful, interesting, and compelling images combined with engaging information. Jenny strives to achieve that goal in her lecture/slideshow presentations.
Current Featured Presentation:
"LIFE ON THIN ICE: Polar Bear Biology, Ecology, Behavior & Conservation"
In this presentation - which includes more than 150 of Jenny's polar bear photographs, as well as many pertinent maps and other graphics - she discusses numerous issues relating to the biology, ecology, behavior, and conservation of polar bears. The scientific material Jenny presents is fully accurate and completely up-to-date (she collaborates with scientists on a regular basis to ensure she has the best available information); and it is integrated with entertaining stories, and accompanied throughout by compelling photographs that serve to inspire the audience about conserving these magnificent and threatened animals. The presentation typically runs about one and a half to two hours, including time for a question and answer session at the end.
